header keeps burning #6 wire
I have shorty headers on my 98. Been on for 2 to 3 years. Ever so often (about every 6 mos) the # 6 spark plug wire burns through. I've tried different wires, I've tried "cool sox", not one but two together. I try to keep the wire away from the header tube but it's next to impossible. Any suggestions or ideas would be appreciated.

You can buy the wire covers that are made from the same thing as header wrap. It just slips over the wire. I use them on mine for the same reason. They are $40-$50 on ebay.
