wow, I never knew how 'affordable' they were. you got me thinking now... LOL
how easy is the install?
I have other things I need to get on my car, but I think after that, I could see myself getting the same ones like yours. I kind of wanted to get my leather redone anyways. might as well pay a bit more and get the seats the car was meant to have...
I wish I could have the Z06 logo on the seats like the stock Z06 seats though.

Super easy install.... 4 bolts mount the seats to the Corbeau Brackets, 4 bolts mount the brackets to the factory seat mounts in the car. Be sure to lay down a thick blanket over the door sill as as not to scratch anything when installing/removing your seats.

Toque
Did you shave the base of the seat by any chance? I hear the Corbeau brackets really bring up the seat height.

Corbeau seat brackets keep the same height as stock (I find). Its when you try to mount the Corbeau seats on the stock brackets that the seat height goes up.
I just talked to Mike and ordered a set of A4s. I got the leather with passenger lumbar (so that it ends up on the driver's side) and sub slots.

Still look brand new after a year.....
I would rate the leather as very good. Its not Carvagio $5000 leather seats but for the price its a good deal. The leather feels tougher than stock leather for sure. Keep the "Zaino Leather in a Bottle" on them and they are going to last me a long time.
Anybody in San Diego that have the A4's? I'd like to sit in them and find out how well they would do with my back. Not a very big guy at all, but I tweaked my back when I was 20, and most seats kill it.

Color matching carpet for the feet of seat brackets.
Guys:
Ever since I installed my Corbeau A4's (and Corbeau seat brackets) I have been left with an empty spot around the mounting feet. Its a big bare floor "Silver" spot around all the mounting feet where there is no carpet. I have wanted to find some carpet or something to cover it up. The factory seat brackets have a plastic cover to cover this bare carpet area.
Yesterday while reading the forum I found a post from forum member "02z06dave" where he made his own partition and put carpet on it. I asked him if the color was close to factory and he said it was very close in color. He got it at Walmart for $9.
I went to Walmart last night and got some of this carpet. Its a little thinner than the factory carpet but the color is surprisingly perfect. I was surprised how close a match it was.
I lifted my seats, then cut 8x square pieces of this carpet (6"x6"), then cut a hole in the middle for the bolt to go thru. I was able to slip this carpet square under the existing carpet easily.
You can now barely see where the factory carpet ends and this carpet starts.
