I've been running NGK TR55's in my black car for at least four years, and I have never had a problem with them - great plugs. In fact, at Xtreme, the plugs we generally run are TR55's on the naturally aspirated mostly stock cars, and TR6's on the forced induction and higher horsepower cars....all with no problems.
Hi There;
My guess is you had the light before you changed plugs.If you have a auto zone near you have them clear the light.If parts clerks knew anything they would be techs making good money.

READ before you post . The guy told him he might throw a code when he puts the plugs in which is . Also alot of parts stores wont clear codes anymore. I know CA wont.
I would have loved to ask him,,,How is the motor going to know the difference??? It is only going to know weather the plugs are firing or not,,simple as that!! No misfire,,no code.
