changed out the shocks on my 04. at first got a service ride control, inoperative shocks, maximum 80 mph displayed. Of course because the wire harnesses from the stock system were just hanging there. So phadt tells me to get a casper electronics magnetic ride control fake out kit. I do and go to install it. The front plugs right in but the back does not. The harness for at the top of the rear shock wont fit the plug on the module. So I make a slit in the car harness so that it will fit and it works great for a day. The next day going down the road I get maximum speed 80 mph on the display. All wires are tight, etc. what the heck is going on.?? Please help, I am super frustrated.
You'll need to do an F45/F55 delete and you will need a Tech II in order to do the delete. There is a write up in the tech section on how to do it and what needs to be deleted.

I'm not sure I can help you, but did you get the correct Casper kit? They only show one kit that states "DOES NOT WORK ON 2003". I'm not sure, but was that the first year of the F55 magnetic ride control system? (I checked. it was. ) If so, that would imply that it only works for the F45 option. They may have a kit for the F55 but I didn't see it on their site.
Don't know if any of that will help, but I tried. If all else fails, someone (dealer or one of the vendors here) with a tech 2 can program it out. There are instructions in the tech archives that spell out the exact procedure for doing this. Not all techs are familiar with how to do this, so if you wind up bringing it to a dealer, it wouldn't hurt to bring the instructions.

does that meen that the kit is of no use to me? If so that sucks. The package said 2004 models on it. Thanks a million for the advice.
I would contact Casper Electronics and ask them. If they said it would work on 2004 model year, which would be F55 option, and it doesn't, they should refund your money. Maybe they have a new kit that works for F55 and you got the wrong one. As far as I know, the tech 2 was the only option, if you had F55, but maybe they have a new product that will work. You will have to ask them.
I'm surprised that the people at Pfadt would recommend a kit that would not work with your car if they knew you had a 2004. They know their way around a Corvette suspension, so it seems unlikely to me that they would make such a basic mistake.
Let us know what you find out.

I think the whole thing sucks. I spoke to them a few times during installation. Phadt, the motorsports shop I bought the coilovers, and my turbos, and got it tuned at, and not a single person said a word about having to do this stuff. Of course not right. I only spent over 10,000 dollars there, why should they be straight up with me when they can sell me more parts. Well I'm taking my car to the dealership today. Thanks to everyone that has been helping me out. The best things in life are free. Corvette forum, best thing I've done.

Not sure what shop you took your car to, but they should have known about the issues of selective ride.
If the dealer can't help you out, post back up. There a few other guys like me that have a Tech2 in the local area.
It seems like most here learn by the school of hard knocks, so don't feel alone. I've learned a few lessons myself this way.

It worked. I didnt think so at first. At the shop I took it to the dreaded max 80 was still up and restricted me on the way home. So $85 dollars later I was very disapointed. I took the advice of someone who wrote that some have had to unplugg the battery to get it to work so I hit reset, disconnected the battery and went back to work. Hours later I went out and fired it up. No code, up the road still no code. 3rd gear and 8lbs. of boost later I was flying past 80 with a big grin. Thanks guys. If I could buy everyone who helped me a beer I gladly would.
