Replacement Targa Top
The blue tint targa top that came with my 99 coupe is in need of replacement. Not only do I have "the stripe" on the passenger side and numerous scratches etc but a crack in the Lexan has started on the right front corner and is now about 1.5 inches long so just refinishing it is not an option.
I know that people sell used ones here but I have also seen that there are a number of places that advertise replacement ones that are basically a used GM frame with new Lexan and weather stripping.
Anyone have any recomendations of someone you bought one from?

Check your local Craigslist. I bought a "like new" one about a year and a half ago for $500. My old one was delaminating (striped on passenger side) and crazed. Had it painted Pewter. Turned out great.

Melrose is one of the ones I was looking at
If you check the site, they say that they sell through authorized dealers. I sent them an email late yesterday asking for contact info for dealers.

Mid-America offers a reproduction targa top. Price is $900 though. You send in your old one as a core after you get the new one.
