I have that same kit/hookup for my car as well. It has been working great for well over a year now. I do recommend you get some kind of holder for your ipod though. I had my ipod in a case and kept it inside the cup holder. It would always fall out and be a distraction. I picked up a setup by ProClip, that works great.

I use the same interface for my iPod as well. Got any pics of your setup? The pics on their site are pretty tiny.
I have this too, from DoubleD mods. Mine never works right. If my iPod is on shuffle, then I go to CD/AUX on the radio, it will start playing but if you try and NEXT track it over, it gets confused sometimes and starts doing whatver the heck it wants. Like replaying the song before or something.

How do you guys set this up?
Sometimes the interface has a mind of it's own. Sometimes I press Play, sometimes I don't. It always turns off when I exit the vehicle, and it always functions when I tell it to, which is pretty good for the price I paid to integrate something into an OEM system. I try not to use the OEM changer controls, just work it off the iPod itself. Seems more consistent that way.

Yea, that sounds like what will be easiest. It seems to get real wacko jacko once you start going through the OEM deck...Dispaying albums and track numbers and other nonsense. Oh well. Thanks for your input!
how is the sound quality through the factory amp and speakers? I have noticed with a CD playing the factory bose stereo isn't too bad and a non subwoofer speaker upgrade could only make it better. The radio is abominable however-
I can hear the music just fine(after installing a partition and carpet in the trunk), and I don't need to turn it up too terribly loud. Quality is same as when playing CD's, that's the line in the interface uses. Until I install a DD nav unit, this is the only stereo modification I will make.
