New Ride!
We would have been looking, pretty much in the same range money wise, for the C5 or the Camaro and would have financed some of the balance either way. Financing was not really an issue. In looking at another C5 we would have had to have two other cars to drive in bad weather making us a four car couple. We only have three garages and were looking at obtaining a lift to house all four cars indoors. Think we can pretty much drive the Camaro year round and this keeps us with only needing three cars and does away with the lift situation and property taxes and tags and insurance on four cars. And we like the Camaro just fine for our second "sports" car. Just seemed to make more sense to go this route? And above all momma is happy and therefore so am I!!!
Now you have to mod the Camaro somewhat, add some white stripes and change the wheels. I have to agree about the comments on the interior. I like the seats but really don't like the dash, the fonts on the gagues and the console mounted gauges are just for show, not really usable for me.
I have a GM card that I've been collecting points on for a new Camaro but I stopped using after GM wiped out my dealer and brand on my dd Pontiac. I've got a stupid air bag light that sometimes comes on that they want me to fix on my dime (I'm past warranty in
years but only have 30m miles), so I'm not sure I want to go with GM on my next new car.

Already ordered the rear spoiler and black out kit for the lights and emblems, as well as the rear "Blackout" panel for the Camaro!! Thinking of the Black stripe kit as well. May have to wait awhile for different wheels though! Mamma is excited and that pretty much translate straight down to Daddy if you know what I mean!! WooHoo..Life is good bros!!
