Low coolant - ??

Default Low coolant - ??
Over the winter I had the vette tuned turned out great! I also changed the thermostat out and have been driving it for about three weeks now. On the way home today a "LOW COOLANT" came on so I let the car cool down and checked the overflow and it is full. Any idea why this may have come on? when I changed the thermostat I had to add dexcool for what was lost on the floor. Just wondering if this is something to be concerned about or any other way to check an make sure I have enough coolant.

Make sure the sensor is plugged in at the bottom of the reservor.

My 98 also does the same thing. No codes but the low coolant keeps poping up. Would also like to know how to solve this.

my 98 vert also shows low coolant on occassion
have checked level, sensor and all seem ok
any other ideas on how to resolve this issue?

air bubbles attached to the sensor.
there are detailed instructions for how to avoid this that come with many thermostats did you follow it?
