Default New 'Vette!

Wahoo! Got a new 2001 MY Coupe today! And, it only cost a few hundred dollars!

Went to EnglandGreen for a dyno/street tune and the difference is AMAZING! Stephen got an additional 22 HP and 25 ft-lb torque out of it. Final numbers are 312 rwhp and 329 rwt. Not too shabby for a stocker! I guess I gotta do some more mods now!

Only mods are Ti exhaust and a Z06 airbox with K&N. The car drives sooo much better than before. The changes are really dramatic. Gonna be going through rear tires a LOT more quickly now. It just wants to get sidways!

Just wanted to shout out to EnglandGreen (Jason, Stephen, and Robert) - they were great and very professional and thorough.

Oh, and I thought my 'Vette sounded good UNTIL I heard some of those babies on the lot! All I can say is

Dennis

Forgot to mention the Hypertech 160 degree thermostat!

Wait...what?? Are you saying that the car itself cost a few hundred dollars, or the work that you did to the car cost a few hundred dollars??

That is great, it is amazing how a good tune can bring alive our stock engines. Congrat's.

The tune cost a few hundred dollars, but the car is like a new one to me. WAAAY better performance and WAAAY better driveability!

EnglandGreen ran a special street tune 1/2 price sale way back when, and I finally got my sorry butt down there to have it done. Jason upgraded me to a dyno/street tune for a total of $300 (just over 1/2 price for their dyno tune!). Needless to say, I am really happy with the tune, and still amazed at EnglandGreen's professionalism and tenacity in working with me on this for more than 18 months!

So, here's another shout out for EnglandGreen and their Necessary Evil! Might have to get me some more of it in the future.

Dennis

PS Stephen didn't post the best HP curve. The one before the final shown above actually showed over 312 HP!
