Default Window adjustment help

I have a 2003 Z06. I got the door panel of already because i need to adjust the drivers window. The reason im doning this is the window need to go a little further back. How do you adjust the window forward and back(not tip in) Need the window to go back so it sits on the weatherstrip better. I already loosened the 2 bolts on the window clamps and tried to tap the window back, but it did not work. Any help would be great tks

You are doing it right. I just did mine two weeks ago. You need to loosen the two bolts that clamp the glass. It won't move easy because there is rubber between the glass and the clamps. Pull the glass with a little force back and forth until you break the rubber loose then you can adjust the window to where you need it. Make sure that the rubber pads are back in place BEFORE you tighten the bolts back down. Also, close the door SLOWLY to make sure the window isn't to high and hits the holdingtabs at the top of the door. Remember, when you loosen the two bolts the glass will be free to move up and down and side to side. Do your best to just slide it back and forth so you don't mess up your up and down height.

I'm going to tackle this maybe next weekend. I would suggest marking your height with a marker of some sort.
