Both power windows quit working at the same time this weekend. Fuse is ok and I can hear a click when I depress the window button. Any ideas to the cause?
I have this problem with my pass window,so I'am alittle confused,is it the motor,or the relay?i took the pan off and did the hammer trick and it work again for a few days. Will go up,but not down.

I suspect the motor. Turn on the key, sit in the passenger seat, hold the window down button while you slam the door closed hard a few times. The motor armature is getting stuck and slamming the door may free it up for a while. If you like, I can help you replace the relay.
So,it's the relay and the armature?I can here the relay clicking.
It could be either one. Even though the relay activates doesn't mean the voltage needed to operate the window is making it through the relay contacts. Replacing the relay is the cheapest one to fix, but it may not be the problem. Swap the driver's side and passenger side door control modules and see if the problem travels with the module or if it stays with the door. That should help you narrow it down.
I will try the switch,I noticed when I removed toe pln to tap motor,That it was warm.I'am thinking pwr to motor, but not working.any logic there?
Warm motor means the motor is getting power but it is probably bound up. Slamming the door with the button pushed might free it up but it sounds like a new motor is going to be needed.
