Default Spare?

I was reading in the C6 forum where several had changed to non-runflat tires but no one mentioned if they had a spare tire or what they were using as a spare. What would work as a spare for a C5?

I've heard a spare from a late model Pontiac GTO will work on a C5. Can anyone confirm?

I believe you are correct.

But,,,,,,where will you put it? It won't fit in the well.
You're better off getting a plug/pump kit similar to what came in the Z06. That will fit in a side well and should be all you need in most situations.

Oh, and even if you have a spare you still will need a jack...................More space needed.................

When I ran non-runflats, I carried similar equipment - plus emergency road service on my insurance (did not have AAA).
