New Vararam
I just finished installing the Vararam air intake system. Not too difficult, but was time consuming. About 4 hours total. Good fit, hooked right up, took it for a spin and runs great.

i like the way it sucks that air in, someone asked me friday night what type of s/c i had, i said i don't, it's the vram intake sucking that air in.

no it was a dude with a (stock) GTO, it does whistle kinda loud tho.
as for making the "car" sound different, i doubt it's enough to make a big difference but you can hear the air being sucked in for sure.
the exhaust sound won't change with the intake addition.

It's definitely worth it, if you want the coolest air available. I've never regretted swapping out my BW.

I found this web site very helpful. The shroud removal and re-install was a pain because of the tight fit. I am pleased with how it all came together. I thought everything fit very well and I didn't need to adjust anything.

But did you do the 45 minute drive to allow the computer to re-tune itself ?

As instructed I let it idle for a couple of minutes. I have driven about 25 miles, so far.
