Haltech Intake Throwing Codes
After over 30,00 miles without a problem, my Haltech intake seems to be causing, according to the dealer, the check engine light to come on for a day or two and then it goes out. I cleaned and re-oiled it over a year ago withut any problems until now. The mechanic who works on the car is a Corvette owner and handles all the Corvettes that come in for service. Any suggestions?

Are you sure that the code is a lean code?
Assuming you have a non-Z06, have you removed your MAF screen?
I've been using a Halltech Stinger for many years and I've never had a lean code pop up.

Which code? I was getting lean codes when I installed mine, but they would only occur during full power runs at the drag strip, and the CEL on lit on the next ignition cycle. I had the car tuned and the problem was resolved. The extra airflow appeared to be causing problems in certain circumstances, so the tune fixed up the fuel tables and resolved the problem.
