Ok, so on saturday I installed a hurricane cai and a new powerduct. Install went smoothly. I have since driven about 200 miles problem free. But just an hour ago, as I'm leaving the gym it starts acting very obviously weird. As I start to roll out in first gear it keeps feeling like it's going to die on me. It noticeably shakes and surges a little and almost turns off. A couple miles later, as I'm getting home the check engine light turns on. What can it be?? I looked under the hood and everything is connected fine.

Sounds like an air leak. Re-tighten all the couplers from the CAI to the TB.

Pull your codes on the DIC. you might be getting the lean codes (I forget what they are at the moment, but search here for em). Installing Halltech's honeycomb air straightener on the MAF could take care of the turbulent airflow that causes lean codes.

Also, as MTPZ06 said, check all connections for possible leaks.
