Hey guys I have the chance to get the power duct for a Vortex Rammer at a good price(its used). I already have a rammer installed I did not get the optional power duct. Is it worth the xtra money as far as power goes? He wants 125.00.

Despite advertisements that state the duct increases airflow to the intake by 30%, I would say that with a relatively stock LS1 or LS6, the airflow increase is not significant enough to boost HP.

I suggest that if you buy it, it would be for cosmetic reasons, only.

For $125, just keep the stock setup. You won't notice any real difference with the pwoer duct.
