There may be 1 or 2 aftermarket A4 shift ***** but lots of C5 owners use the adapter so that they can install a screw-on shift **** with 9/16-18 threads. Here's an example:



You can buy the adapter at any number of Corvette parts stores like Ecklers.

You can go on Ecklers or Mid America and look at the shifter ***** they have plus they both sell the adaptor.

Stockish looking, but IMO, much better -

Vette Essentials shift **** and boot available in a myriad of colors / combos.
