Default Power seat problem. Help?

So all of a sudden the other day the little switch on my passenger seat that goes horizontal (the other two go vertical), won't shut off. It's in the normal position but it seems that the motor keeps trying to run. I'm not even sure what this switch does. Any ideas on how to fix this. Disabling the whole thing all together wouldn't bother me because I've never even used it anyways.

I had the exact same issue a few years ago. Dealer replaced it under warranty though, so I can't give you a quick fix other then unplugging the whole kit. That's what I did until it got fixed, I did miss the easy exit mode though.

It's on my passenger side so I wouldn't mind just moving the seat all teh way back and unplugging it. Is there any easy way to unplug it?

Its easy to unplug it. The connector is just under the seat.

This is a very common issue on the C5 and leads to a lot of dead batteries. I'm afraid a switch unit change is the only solution but its an easy DIY.

Which switch are you guys disconnecting. I just went out to try to check it out and I unlugged a which connector and then there is still a blue one on the outside side of the seat right under the track and then there is another blue one that is zip tied to the bar that runs across the front of the seat.
So which one?

I think you need to be looking for the white connection that lays under the seat and is not zip tied to a rail. I had the same issue and that is the one I unhooked. It only controlled the lumbar and bolsters. I still have front and back and memory working.

Perfect. That is the one I unplugged. I was just worried it wouldn't do anything
