Default Painted Oil Dipstick

Anyone here paint there dipstick........sounds funny but serious. Want to paint my 2002 C5 dipstick to get rid of ugly yellow.....HELP

definitely need to get it really clean first so whatever paint you choose will stick.

Spray it with KRYLON "Fusion" or use a TESTORS hobby paint stick. Either will work well...

I did mine last weekend. I just wiped with rubbing alcohol and sprayed with high heat BBQ paint as I already had a can laying around. Gloss black probably would have been good, but I used what I had. Nice subtle change.
