Default Back order frustrations!!

On 4-22-10 ordered spoiler, still haven't received.Got e-mail on 5-3-10 saying three weeks behind. Been waiting on parts for the cutouts for over a month,5-11-10,ordered body kit.Received another e-mail,yes you guessed it, this too is back ordered. I'm sorry, one more, ordered blackout kit last week, they are back ordered too. I guess someone is trying to tell me something! Anyway,HAPPY SPENDING.

Tough run of bad luck on ordering stuff for your car. Hopefully the vendors will come through and get things to you sooner than expected.

Did you order all of these from the same vendor? Which vendor or vendor's did you use.

I hope it wasn't Ecklers... took me over 3 months to get a car cover that they wouldn't let me cancel the order for when it didn't show up after a month. Mine was supposedly "in-stock" according to their website. I sent it back the day after it finally arrived.

It would seemed easier to simply drive down to Ecklers and pick it up then to have it shipped to Daytona Beach.

Sorry didn't get back sooner, was on the golf course all day! It was four different vendors,Rpi,west coast vettes, the cut outs were local, and I forgot who the blackouts were from.West Coast e-mailed and said they were shipped, then thirty seconds later, got a another e-mail saying it was on back order. None of them had a problem taking my credit card though! RPI says they are running three weeks behind,at the time of ordering,I ordered it painted. Now that I ordered the body kit and it has to be painted,I thought about just asking RPI to send it unpainted.

Well I have order from both West Coast as well as RPI. I would recommend both to anyone. Now for West coast I ordered an ACI nose splitter and received a back order e-mail notice. I contacted them by e-mail to see if they had any idea on the length of delay, and I received a reply that in fact it had been shipped from ACI and that it should arrive in a week, which it did. On my second order, I also received a back order notice, and I also e-mail an inquiry and found that it was a standard e-mail and that my order would be shipping in the next day.

As for RPI, I never had a problem and the part shipped within a week of my order. Josh at RPI does great work and the paint match is perfect. I ordered the low profile rear deck lip spoiler as well as some painted engine compartment pieces. Josh can get a little behind as he will run some great offers and he receives a lot of orders that need to be painted. The wait for his products are worth it.

Hang in there.

I ordered the ACI splitter from West Coast as well and got the backorder email so I called them and they said it is sent out automatically because it's drop shipped from ACI. I got it a couple days later.
