AMSOIL Oil ??????

If you change your AMSOIL oil every 5k, the why do you buy it. It can go much longer and up to 25,000 as per their website. It seems like a waste of money at every 5k and you could use anything changing it at 5k.

Leisure drivers shouldn't have to worry about when to change their oil with Amsoil as long as they do it once a year.
People like me that drive their cars hard or race their cars should change the oil often, even if it's Amsoil.
The reason for getting Amsoil isn't about how long it will go, but how well your engine wears with it during the time it's in your car.

Amsoil recommends 25k/1yr for normal service w/ their filters eao oil
and air (many of us run after market cai or ram myself included, vararam)
15k/1yr for severe duty.
any car modded or tracked should be considered severe duty even
a cai system.
My 99 vette 3.5-4k miles yr I change filter at one year and oil at two years,not Amsoils recomendation or mine, but what I feel absolutely comfortable doing.
My daily driver 05 focus w/ 97k miles I change oil & filter once a year
28kmiles in 09, 24kmiles in 08. Cars both run like tops along with wifes
2001 bmw 330cic.
Have used Amsoil in all my vehicles since 1989 for all fluids that apply
engine, trans (manuals and autos) diffs, power steering, brake fluid
fuel treatments.
21 years of using their products with 11 different cars 300k+ miles
and a perfect satisfaction record with Amsoil.
