What a Deal!
Stopped by the local Chevy Dealer today to check on a CAM change in my 08. While waiting I checked out their used inventory.
They had "according to the salesman" just taken in a 2001 Coupe with 14,800 miles on it. Just for curiosity I looked it over as I had traded my 01 on the 08. They were asking $25,000 for the car. I pointed out to the salesman that the Drivers seat was torn from wear both the side and the bottom, you could put your finger through it. The left front facia was cracked and the tires were worn out.
I told the Salesman that for a car with only 14,800 miles on it, it sure was worn! The owner must have gotten in and out many times without going anywhere! My 01 had 38K on it and was not that worn.
His response, "I don't know much about Corvettes". Go figure. The sad part is that they will probably sell it at that price!

I went to a dealer here in So-Cal to look at a C6, and he showed me a 07 C6 and told me the car had a 405hp LS6 in it. Also the hood was up and I was looking at the fuel rail covers and then back at him then back to the fuel rail covers...............That was my sign to leave. Come to find out it was his second day on the job and he drove a Mustang
