[Z06] Track / Road Race first mods?
#2 Track alignment. Stock alignment will push and chew up your tires.
#3 Track brake pads. Stock ones will fade in short order.
As for coolers, the car has a power steering fluid cooler stock. I wound up getting power steering fluid overflowing a bit from my resevoir anyway so I switched to RedLine power steering fluid and now it's fine. Next up is an oil cooler which is a good idea if you drive hard but lots of people track their cars without them. Not required right away. Check the roadrace section for tons of threads about them. IMO the trans cooler is the last you need if you drive really really hard or have more power than stock. If your trans is overheated, it will pop a message up on your DIC to let you know. I have never gotten the message so I see no reason to buy a trans cooler. They cost a friggin fortune.
Go hang out in the autocross/roadrace section of the forum under "General Corvette." All the info you could ever want is over there if you search and ask.

1. Contact patches.
Brake pads, Brake fluid change
Brake cooling
Seats and harness
Tires.
2. aggressive street alignment
3. then Bigger cooling
bigger Radiator, Oil cooler, Trans cooler
PS cooler if you dont have one.
Then nothing but seat time and more seat time.
Notice no HP mods. Most ppl can not drive a stock vette to 60% of the cars capabilties any way.
yes HP mods are sexy as hell, but contact patch mods and seat time make you a far better driver
