Switchbacks and Hyperflash harness installed!
The harness took 20 minutes to install because it's always a PITA to get the knee panel back in and lined up perfectly. One thing I noticed though is that the signal "click" noise isn't as loud now. I don't know if I like that or not, but I'm not worried about it right now.
I found it easier to install the switch backs from above by removing the head light bevels and just reaching my arm in.
On the first try, I didn't realize I hadn't fully secured the switchback into the socket. BIG mistake. As soon as I tried to put the socket into the housing, the switchback popped out and rolled around in the housing... I had to pull the housing off to get the switchback out.
That was a waste of 15 minutes.Well, I didn't make that mistake again. The driver's side socket was kind of hard to get back in from the top, until I realized I could move the brake duct and use my other hand to help guide it in... 3 seconds later that side was done.
I tested the lights before putting them back in the housing each time to make sure they worked without issue. Good thing too since I put the passenger side in backwards... (They fit either way, so always check)
I'll post pictures later tonight. I'm going to wash my car right now.

Ahhhh... Good times.

Not sure about your Z, But my 2002 Coupe will let me know if I leave the turn signal on for too long, It will chime and I think it says something in the DIC

I jacked up my car and did it through the bottom access pannels, But I also changed my housings to clear corners.

Stock corners look good, I agree. I may still change them out to the clear corners. But further down the road.
I want to get the white LED license plate spot lights soon.
