I called and talked to California Chrome Wheel yesterday. They told me that they will no longer clear coat aluminum polished wheels because the EPA [about a year ago] stopped shops from using anything but water based clear. The stuff turns yellow and looks like sh#*. Unless you want to keep polishing the wheels every few weeks, he said to chrome them. Mine are cherry and I think chrome make forged wheels look like cheap repro's. Just my opinion and not worth much. Good luck! Rod from Kalifornia
