I have this exact product and I only use it on road trips and some evening cruising. Comes off as soon as I get home. It works great to keep bugs off but probably won't work for protection from rocks since it is super thin. Installation of the snapscrews (see image in link) was easy and this thing goes on and off in under a minute and stores in a small nylon bag. I keep in the car all the time. Cleaning is easy too. Wash in cold water on gentle cycle and just air dry.

Not sure about how it would function in rain since I've never had that experience, but common sense tells me anything on the nose in rain may trap some road junk from the spray so just be aware and act accordly.

I don't think it will harm your carbon fiber since it uses three small plastic cable clips (see image in link) to hold it in place. They slip over the back edge and hold the top edge of the mask in place. I have a hood seal and and haven't had any issues with it either. I think the seal actually helps hold it in place. It is made of stretch nylon and fits like a glove and looks awesome.

If you want to see it installed, let me know and I'll take some pics this weekend and post them.

Your concerns for installation shouldn't pose any problem for you. As I posted a week or so ago we just finished a 5108 mile road trip using this bra and I am glad it was on the car.

We were at the top of the storms in Tenn and KY and saw a lot of rain. At the end of the day I'd wash off the car and remove the bra, shook out the bugs and splatter from the road and wash it out. It dries in minutes. We are in the middle of love bug season here and its a must to use something as well as carry detailer. /Ken
