C5 convertible top protective cover?
From time to time I'm forced to park under trees and my top could benefit by a protective cover. I've used a piece of plastic that I keep stowed away but it's not a good solution. I see that such a protective cover is available for the C6. I haven't seen much discussion about this and am looking for info.

I bought one similar to this that was about 1/2 the price direct from a cover manufacturer, but mine is a "top down" cover.

Certainly not a bad idea, particularly if it was a lightweight, easily stowable one. If a lightweight full size top didn't fold up to my liking (small enough) it's possible that the top section could be cut out of it. I've used a whole car cover on our C3 coupe over the years and finally decided it's usually more trouble than it's worth. But I'm noticing that a light colored convertible top can quickly suffer some pretty serious damage if you're not careful.
