I'm going to be buying headers in the next week or so, but I'm still undecided on what brand.
The price is right on these! haha

What is the length of the primarys on these headers?

Hey guys......what's the clearance betwen the catted system and the tunnel plate? I'm wondering if a thicker 3/8" tunnel plate with a thin layer of DIY thermal insulation sheet added will still leave adequate clearance to the cats.

Thanks!

I have the catted version of this system. When I had it down for the installation I made a 3/8" tunnel plate. It cleared the exhaust system/cats without issue...I don't have any thermal insulation on mine.

I'm hoping they make a 1 7/8 in the future but IIRC they said they don't plan on it. Hopefully the OP will chime in.

Ok, weather is warming up a little and I'm thinking of starting the install.

I had a few questions after reading this entire thread.

Replacement band clamps for mid pipes - What size to purchase? Do they need to be tapered?

Replacement locking header bolts - Part number? Size/Length?

I think that is it, everything else has been answered thanks to a very helpful thread. Can't wait to have them in!

I used these, non tapered. Worked great. From Summitt Racing. No issue using the stock manifold bolts for me.

Yes, come with a 3" X-pipe and mid-pipes to bolt up to most all catbacks (ends in the same spot with flange as the factory H-pipe ) Available with hi-flow cats or offroad with resonators. As to comparing to LG's, what do you want to compare? The battle between headers has been beaten to death, however with nice flanges, polished 321 stainless, great fitment and easy installation, nice X merge, and proven results you simply cannot beat these for the price
