I ran out to the garage and took some quick pictures, left the focus to auto so they are not that good. Tomorrow I will get you some better pictures

Also you can notice the one missing header bolt, it still has to go in, once I find it!

Starter is easier to wire up I guess once you have done a few of them, haha. Very glad to hear everything went on smoothly! It really is a pretty easy install Thanks for the pics, much appreciated!

It is pretty easy as far as Headers go!

I want to emphisize that if you have never installed Headers before, get someone experienced to help ya if you can, or at least expect it to take longer then what you've seen so far.

Header installs are not an "easy" mod, we hear about Headers all the time and it's one of the first power mods people do. Rightly so, it's the foundation for everything else... Because they are so prevelent, alot of owners think, "Well, I'll slap some Headers on and away I'll go..." Well, they don't just slap on. It takes a bit of wrenching, maybe even some cussing. Alot of us have learned from experience, like install the O2 sensors before shoe horning the Headers into the engine bay....

I'm not trying to disuade anyone, far from it!!! I do want someone new to installing these to understand it's not as easy as alot of us seasoned guys make it sound... A total noob can install these, no problemo just don't expect it to be super easy...

If ANYONE hits a rough spot, or has any questions get ahold of Jon or myself! We're here to help, we've invested alot of time making these as perfect as we could get them and have a lot of experience with them...

Our number one goal is to provide an excellent system without the Corvette Tax... I think we've done that with the Headers and Catback!

Tim

Well put Tim! With the necessary common tools, decent space to work, a friend to help out, and somewhat of an idea it is a very straight forward job!

In all seriousness. I think I had to tweak( straighten) the dipstick on my friends car just a tiny bit to get it back in. It wasn't much.

lol, pending the year of your car, you may not be able to bolt it down anywhere. earlier style cars had the dip stick mounted to the stock exhaust manifold. Mines not bolted down.... no worries, if you want it bolted down and have an earlier year car, you can fab up a mount or toss in a newer year dipstick in the car

Did you take your car out yet?? Interested to hear your impressions after having driven with them on.

Anyone else get them out on the road/track and care to share their experience?

I took the car out last night, sounds great! The car is not tuned [for the headers] but I can 100% tell a difference. If it doesn't rain again tonight I will take her out on the highway

Next week I go to the track too

I see your in Rochester too, I will be heading up there soon to have New Era tune my car. PM me if you want to stop by and hear it, no date yet though.

Got mine ready to go in. There was a little mixup with the cats, but Jon stayed on top of it and got me everything quickly. Can't wait to get them in. Should be a couple weeks. Already picked up some new header bolts and gaskets ready to go. I'll let everyone know how it goes. Looking forward to start tuning with my EFI live and wideband.

Nice! I can't wait to get them on my car. I'm scheduled at New Era for the headers install and dyno tune on the 14th. They got me in a lot sooner than originally expected but the wait is still killin me! I've heard great things about Mike's tunes...

Have fun at the track and post up results when you get a chance!

Glad the shipping went quick and we got that straightened out! Keep me posted how the install goes!
