The Best of Corvette for Corvette Enthusiasts

He gets extremely frustrated with the made in China comments, how would you feel if a product you've worked very hard on and spent thousands of dollars on was constantly getting bashed by erroneous information?? I can understand his frustration, and this environment makes for difficult communication at times, anybody can spit out any garbage they want...
XS also is certain that the OP of that thread was a "mole" stirring up misinformation in an attempt to thwart sales... Ironically that appears to have been successfull!
Although the sales seem to going to a different manufacturer, which is fine as long as the instigator isn't getting any!
I would rather Dennis get them then some greedy, sneaky backstabber... I think the big boys are starting to feel some pressure on their monopoly... I KNOW how much the actual costs are on this system and let me tell you that ANY price over $1,000 for a Catted system (Headers and X Pipe) is more then Doubled. Their prices, closer to $2k are just robbery!!!!! Plain and simple, it's
We've long suspected PM campaigns against lower cost products as well... It's hard to believe when you get 20 or more people posting up that they are interested in buying a set and then get NO sales that they all changed their minds without outside influence.
So I understand his frustration...
Tim
Anyways, moving on, lets see some install pictures/ comments from those that have received their systems!

It wont be this month, but I can say that when my engine goes back together, it will have some modded XS headers on it... (removing a.i.r. tubes)
p.s. I've known Superman09 for years going back to thousands of posts we both have on ls1tech.com and I'll say that he's a stand up guy, and that translates to striving to be the best enthusiast/vendor possible. If you're on the fence about headers, look hard at the XS product with confidence in mind and know that this vendor will make sure you're happy should you have a question/issue after the sale/delivery.

It appears we have had an issue with installing on a 4-post lift. I am unsure if it is only a specific set-up model of 4-post, but the ramps of the lift have gotten in the way to not allow the necessary space to twist the headers up into place from the bottom. AGAIN I will say I do not know if this is 4 posts in general or just a specific one.... I guess it really depends on ramp placement of the lift and where the car is positioned on this.
To remedy...
1.) use a jack for the lift if you have one and raise the front of the car up off the ramps to give you the room to twist the headers up and in.
2.) If no jack, and you MUST install on the 4-post as only option, your hope is not lost. Simply drain the oil, drop the pan down to be able to move it over to one side as you slip the headers up and in.
****THIS HAS ONLY BEEN OBSERVED ONCE AND ONLY ON A 4-POST LIFT WITH THE RAMPS OF THE LIFT BLOCKING NECESSARY SPACE!!!!! IF YOU ARE ON A 2-POST O JACKSTANDS, THE HEADERS SLIDE RIGHT UP AND IN!!!!!****

Other neat things are that the unit disassembles and can be stacked as a compact unit - out of the way when not in use. Also, the unit can be used on grass, sand, or gravel - without sinking down.
We may be biased, but we really think this thing is cool...
