Wheel Brush
I'm thinking about pulling my wheels off so I can detail the backside. Can anyone recommend a high quality wheel brush that would do a good job so that maybe it won't be necessary for me to remove the wheels?

I use this brush. EZ Detail Brush Mini, works great, gets too all the inner wheel places.

Here's another version of that brush; the Daytona Speed Master Wheel Brush:

I use an old wash mitt and a paint stir stick. After I have washed the car the wheels come next. I then wash the tires and wheels with the old mitt. Then I stick the paint stir stick in the mitt and do the barrels of the wheels. Rinse with clean water and I am done. My .02

My wife got one of these for me, it's the greatest wheel brush I've ever used.

I have both of those brushes and they work great. One is bigger than the other, so it is worth having both.

When I remove the wheels to clean them I use soapy water and an old terry cloth rag.
