I think the Vette totally looks like it evolved the way it should have but I can understand the designers getting influence from the RX7, it being one of the sexiest designs to ever come out of japan...it was ahead of its time, great fun and beautiful car, until the ricers get to it
On the C6 you can see a little Viper influence in the front when one is coming at you.I just wish the design would set the styling standard in stead of coping other brands.

I don't see it as "copying." I mean there's only so many ways to make fender vents. Aerodynamics all demand certain curves, scoops etc so to try to be unique means to sacrifice some of what actually makes a good flowing design. All the sports cars need to have a duct here, a vent there, a flow here and on a car, there are only so many options.
