Default Vig or yank?

have to do gears and TC to go along with the rest of my mods... seems PI's Vigilanti TC is more popular than Yank... what's the vote??

I'll either run a VIG 2800 with 2.5 STR, or a Yank 3000 with 1.95 STR btw, curious on who's had good/bad luck with either brand...

THANX!!

Vigilante. Yank has poor customer service (from what I experienced in the past). Good luck.

my coupe has the vigilante 2400 ........it has around 25 thousand on it..it is in a flt level 5 tranny....and there are 486 horsies at the wheels....... zero issues.....I don't abuse or race it, although my wife is sure that my coupe has a stuck toyota throttle.

I have had 2 yanks, a 3200., and now a 3800. Both have been flawless on the track and the street, and I race the hell out of it. Their customer service has been excellent and prompt on my end over the past 4 years. (3) calls!

I've had both a Yank SS3600 and now a Vig 5 disc 3400 stall. Both have been flawless. You can't go wrong with either company IMO.

I have a a Vigalante 2800 in my car. it works like designed. I just wish I had a switch to make it like a stock converter during my daily drive to work, and then switch it when I wanted to drive it hard.

Glad you had a good experience with them. My experience was that they sent the wrong converter, so I called them and returned it. But they didn't credit me back on the return or return my calls afterward. My credit card company had to get involved. I would NEVER go with that company again because of that. I got "yanked" alright..

Just had the A4 built at ECS and a Circle D TC installed. Seems to be ok but I haven't had the opportunity to put a lot of miles on it yet.
