n00b question re: C5 console lid

<-- C5 vert, tan interior.

Did any of the tan interior cars come with a tan console lid?

If not, has anyone here had theirs re-covered? I'm thinking I'd prefer tan, since it gets HOT in the AZ sun (even on a nice day like today).

I don't there was any 'tan/oak' console lids. I got a nice tan/black console cover, shift boot and e-brake boot from Redlinegoods.com (here on the forum).

I don't know about other years, but my 04 shale interior includes the console cover.
Plenty of after market pieces to choose from.

Mid-America sells a very nice lid cover for about a 100 bucks. They will custom make anything you want for another $25 or so. I've had mine 5 years and still looks like new. It's also much nicer on the elbow on long trips.

03 anniversary edition and 04 commemorative editions came with tan lids (and dash and door panels) It was called shale.

I have never seen a console lid in tan. If you want one in that color, I would also recommend one by Vette Essentials. Top quality product by them.

my 04 CE also. the shale is a really nice light interior color (i live in south florida, and while not a dd, i do drive my car and it is definitely a bit cooler than the standard "tan" interior color.
