AC problem
So, usually I don't use the ac anyway becuase hey it robs horsepower
, So I turn it on and...... hot air. I am a mechanically inclined person, however I know nothing about ac's. Right now the compressor kicks on and off, so I think it might have enough 134 in it to work. The ac controller (digital) doesn't seem to properly change temperatures and right now I am thinking maybe that could be the problem. I had a similar problem in my 04 silverado and replaced the controller and that fixed the problem. I got the controller for the truck for free. The one for the vette is gonna cost some money. So long story short, is there any other way I can test the controller or bypass it before spending the money? I really like to work on things myself so I can save money and spend it where it counts, like on the engine.
Thanks for reading and I appreciate any replies.

1. The Climate Controller is bad - I just replaced mine that was doing the same thing, it stopped changing the temps or adjusting. replaced with a used one and it worked perfect!
2. The Vacuum line is pinched or eaten through. I did a write-up on this here:

3.AC Actuators not allowing the vents to move, here is a fixit:
