Default Thin spoke advice

I'd like to have a set of thin spokes on my 00 coupe. I'm wondering that with all the cracking I've been reading about with the oem units if it would be better for me to buy some reproduction wheels. Corvette wheels has some polished units for about $700 a set. Its a bit more than a nice batch of stock wheels but perhaps worth it in the long run?
What do you think?

What do you have on the car now? The '00 came out with the thin spokes as standard equipment. I had both the high polished and painted thin spokes on my '00 and never saw any signs of cracking in either set. Obviously, not all wheels cracked.

Some of the reproduction wheels come with a lifetime structural warranty, so if that is the way you want to go, find a set with that kind of guarantee.

I've never had a crack in the 2 sets that I've had.

Default Thin spokes

No problems with mine in 4 yrs. If you go aftermarket you might want to watch the weights of the wheels. People may tell you different but extra unsprung weight is not good for performance or handling.
