Default Need Help with Jacking

Ok I'm about to send my pcm off to ECS to get tuned. but I need to remove the pax side tire to get to it. I'm new to vette's only had mine for 2 months, and I have heard some horror storys about jacking these cars up wrong i.e warped frames, broken fiber glass, ect. What I need to know is where do I need to jack, to remove the pax side front tire. should I jack the whole front end up or just the one side.

Thanks David

You need some jack pucks I friend made mine out of a hockey puck and a eye bolt but you can also buy them.
If you look under the side of your car you will see a spot twards the front of the door and the back of the door to put them.
Here is a set you can buy from one of our trusted vendors on the forum

This is really the only good safe way to do it.

Welcome to the C5 Club!!!

if no one has pictures of where to put them i will send them to you tonight.

I find it very easy to jack up the whole front end - just roll the floor jack underneath and jack away. You'll see the cross member to jack from. Just place a piece of wood or plastic on the cradle so it doesn't mar the surface it would come in contact with.

The same holds true for the rear.
