WCC has the C6 type for the C5, for $159, I'm going for them. I installed C6 Z06 Rims and went with the 1" wider front and rear. Tires come up right to the edge of the fender, so I kick up stuff right to the outside... My only concern is there is some adjustment, I'm not sure if that means using a dremel tool to trim the guards as if I'm installing actual C6 splash guards.... will call and get confirmation.
I have been looking at these. Did they fit right out of the box? No cutting or grinding to get them to fit?
No cutting,no grinding,no sanding - no nothing. They fit to near perfection from the get go.
In the way of a little back round:
I researched all of the Splash Guards that I could find and was not satisfied with what I found. To some degree this is due to my very fussy nature when it comes to my Corvette.
I heard about Lewis Five Motorsports from a forum member and found there facility was less than one hour from where I live.
I contacted them and set up a visit to see what there Splash Guards looked like. What I found was that they had a C5 dedicated as a proto type car for the design of there products. The Splash Guards were on this car for me to see form and fit. They then removed them from their car and held them up against my car to see what they looked like.
In detail conversation I found that these Splash Guards are made in a mold and are hand laid fiberglass. Interesting also is that they use black resin in the prosess so rock chips are not noticable over time.
They are finely designed and are not very obtrusive on the fender.
I ordered front and rear on the spot.
When I came back to pick them up they were on a table waiting. They were installed from the table to the car with no modification to the Splash Guards at all.
Based on my experiance this is a great product from good people.
I hate 'em. I hate they way they look and when I drag them on a speed bump. yes, I do have the ugly things and need them. I like the Apsis design and will mod them with a bit of rubber on the bottom.

did you have to drill any holes? or did they use existing holes and double sided tape?

The front set used the two existing fender liner screw locations with new black screws provided. One small hole needed to be drilled on the underside and screwed into place with a black provided screw.
The rear set required drilling two holes, one into the fender fiberglass edge and one into the rear bumper edge and screwed into place with black provided screws. And again one small hole is drilled on the underside and screwed into place with a black provided screw.
Both front and rear sets has 3M double sided tape the full length of each guard on the inside which cannot be seen from the outside.

Lewis Five took a lot of pictures of the installed splash guards on my car. They are not yet on there web site but they may be able to email them to you.
Mention Bobs Mgnetic Red vert and I am sure they will remember the insallation.
