Driving slowwwwww and posting about it here on this site, when I see some of the same HYPOCRITS on other sites posting how they REALLY drive....
A similar topic came up years ago on a local car enthusiasts forum. Two guys in particular which were in there 30's or so couldn’t figure out why people always wanted to race them. They portrayed themselves to be model drivers. Well I’ve seen the one twice and the other 4 or 5 times within the last few years driving by themselves and each time they were acting like asshats. Flooring it from a light with traffic around, weaving in and out of traffic, riding peoples butts, cutting people off, ect.. Kind of funny how that works.
glad to see some others on here share the same opinion...it's a freaking corvette. it has a v8, is very light, has wide wheels/tires, and even the stock exhaust is moderately loud. so freakin enjoy it!
I seem to get a lot of this crap from diesel trucks. They pull up along side of me and then rev a bit or pull up in front of me and rev, always leaving a soot cloud. Of course, I'm always in a position where I have to drive through the soot cloud. Otherwise, I don't get a ton of crap from other kinds of cars though. I guess my exhaust scares a lot of them away.
That's a TX thing. Never noticed that before I moved to Austin from Tucson. Now, on the other hand, there are some smoking hot diesel trucks running around here
yessir! made of helium actually....nah i just come from a world of mustangs. and for a rear wheel drive v8 car vettes are real light, especially this day in age

Y'all don't know it all.....With my car sitting under the carport (when it's uncovered) neighborhood kids in trucks and ricer type cars will gun their engines as they pass by........and I'm out in the yard.....
Tell you what..... drive your nice yellow 'Vette on Pleasant Hill road for one month past all the Korean strip malls, and let me know if you feel the same way.
Peace out.
Oh I understand your frustration. Me, I drove on your Interstate through downtown Atlanta and it was hairy. Full time and attention on that roller coaster ride.
Been to Korea and been to Pleasant Hill.
btw: why they call it Pleasant Hill Rd? Sounds like it's due for a recall.
Atlanta doesnt have the population density that Korea does. That population density means fewer people likely are driving relative to the total population and likely the people who are are better screened and have more sense. Between that and the most likely (never been so I dont know) lower speeds its no wonder traffic gets along just fine. ATL is the exact opposite. While we do have peak traffic periods, most of the 24hr day the roads are clear for people to drive the speed limit or higher. I will take being in traffic at 15mph with an asian woman next to me over being next to one at 70 mph on any hwy any day. besides in korea perhaps they all drive erratically so they know to expect it.

Atlanta a little over 500K. Seoul almost 12M. I saw no dented cars over there. Go figure. Polite people, great food, and the young city women dress to kill. They got all kinds of public transportation but they also love their cars.
I guess for the country folks the grass is greener on the other side which brings some to the streets that Joshua uses.
ATL population is actually just shy of about 6M FYI. The city of ATL itself is very small and accounts for little of that however it also accounts for little of the traffic, etc.
I dont get your country folks comment so I wont address it.
Guys and Gals, bring your cars out to an HPDE session with a group at your local speedway some weekend. After flogging a vette in style and learning a few handling tricks, you won't even notice the idiots on public highways. You will simply see them as the idiots they are and ignore them. Always take it to the track where it belongs. A lot less liability and much more safety and fun. Public highways are simply avenues to get from one place to another. Racetracks are for high speed fun while getting nowhere. I even slow down on the highways and listen to elevator music most times.
Is this like the guy the other day in one of the nissan-infinity-g-350-zxs that pulled up next to me and starts to whole gun it and slow down thing at 70. His car looked like it had been caught in a horizontal hail storm. I've seen fewer dents in demolition derbies.
Somehow 3rd gear was too much for him and he even had the golfball aerodynamic advantage
