Default Fuel Question

I just bought a 1999 C5 with 55k. The lady I bought her from only put 8k on her in 7 years.
The car has ¼ tank of gas and the last time she filled it up was 7 months ago.
The car seems to run fine. I intend to fill her up tomorrow after I get my plates .
Which fuel additive if any would be recommended?
Thanks for your help
Ron

Use premium fuel and some Techron. Should be good to go.

Just a suggestion,,,I too would ad the Techron,,,but I would only put a 1/4 or 1/2 tank,,say 8-10 gallons!! This would dilute the old gas,,and enable you to run it out quicker!! Then I'd fill the tank with fresh premium adding Techron for a couple more times!! I personally would like to get the old stale gas out quickly!! Another option would be fill a 5 gallon can with premium,,and siphon out most of the old gas,,use it in your lawn mower if you don't want to waste it!!

Seven months isn't that old. Fill up with good gas and relax.

Thanks to one and all for your guidance.
I figured Kornfreak 401 must know best since his grandpa did it all the time but was wondering when the smoke will clear up.
Thanks
