However since it does show the high pressure side I'm willing to bet the low pressure side must be the other service port.

Generally the 2 ports are different size fittings, the recharge kits will ONLY plug into the low pressure side. You should get a cheap set of guages anyway so you know what the high and low pressures are before you begin.
