Earlier this week a 2006 Vert C6 with 27k miles sold near me for $21,000 in nice condition with clean title. I just missed it and would have liked to have bought it if I had been in time.

there are a ton of things that can change the value of a car you have to look at all the options and go from there, cant really look at a C6 vert if it is a base model and compare it to a loaded C5, always remember it is worth what whoever owns it will let it go for, if you think it is a good deal and the owner thinks it is a good deal....................it is a good deal buy it and drive your money out of it
High teens to low 20s. There is not a single '02 convertible within 500 mi. of my area that you can buy for some of the low ball prices thrown out on this forum. You will spend forever looking for that bargain basement car.
As to an '06 for 21K, there must be more to that story. Either not legit or salvage title.
Best of luck to you.
I paid 20K, that is tax, tags and all fees 18 months ago. 2002 EB with oak w/55k on it, one owner and a clean carfax and GM service record. I searched within a 200 mile radius and found two in the color I wanted, only one had the oak trim so I am very happy with the car and the deal.

Nope the 06 Vert had a clean carfax and clean normal title, no salvage. Sold on Autotrader the first day listed. Guy just needed to sell.
I bought my loaded 2001 Vert within 10 miles of my home in near mint condition with nearly new Michelin run flats from the original retired owner for $13,000. All service records, original paperwork, window sticker, upgraded audio with navigation and K40 undetectable built in radar and laser system.
If a buyer is in a hurry or they have limited their search to only one color combo then they will pay more but if you take your time and be a little flexible on color you can find a good deal out there.
This is the car I bought for $13,000 this January.

Your SELLER must have been in a hurry. You got an exceptionally good deal with that one.
