That's on my list of strange obsessions that Corvette owners are likely to have. The importance of "The WAVE". The ugliness of the factory antenna. The ugliness of the body side moldings. I just don't understand why these things are important to so many people. This is my third Corvette I've owned over the years, and by far, the only one worthy of near-worship, but, really?
I guess tradition is something of the past, very very sad.
Tradition is important even if it seems silly or out dated.
baseball players have them before games,
football players to,
Dale Earnhardt Sr, before every race had one
pilots,
seamen,
ETC.
vette owners have the WAVE
I guess another really silly one is teaching commend sense to the younger generation who thinks, I am doing what I want how does that effect any one else tradition. I know extreme but throw out one, two, three, the next thing you know, history no longer exist because we threw out tradition.
