Welcome...Think Corvettes of Dallas can fix ya up w/bypass....Sounds like you learned the best way out...(Now to get in: I open the door; back up to the car; one hand on the steering wheel and one on the upper jamb.....gently lower self into seat(all while looking discreet as possible)........or you can just fall in....
Congrats on getting your Corvette....as far as the exhaust, I would recommend the CORSA Pace car exhaust over the Touring. It is much better sounding, doesn't drone, and really kicks in on wide open throttle.
It's what a Corvette should sound like. I hope you get a chance to hear this exhaust before you purchase any other. Good Luck with your Vette!
Corsa makes a very good exhaust and no drone. I'm running the Indy exhaust on mine - sounds so much better than the stock system - no drone, quite under normal driving conditions, really wakes up when you step down on the gas.
Thanks to all of you for your replies and help. Will get the ignition lock ordered pronto.
Hope to get somewhere where I can hear some Corsa's.
Looks like I got the chrome wheel thing wrong. Thought they were OEM. Like 'em anyway. Always been a 5 spoke man because they are easy to clean and keep looking nice.
Gotta find time to drive this thing. I'm afraid the M/C will get lonley for awhile.
Thanks again!

If you go with the Corsa, then I would recommend the Pace cars. I'm running a Novi blower and AR longtubes and have no problem with drone.
Talked to Corsa on the phone today and it seems the Xtreme system has a much deeper sound than the Pace which would be nice. The Pace seems "HiFi" where as the touring or Xtreme is deeper sounding.
Question is just how loud is the Xtreme? Me thinks too much of a good thing maybe.
make sure you need the CLB first. Mine has a kit installed and I still hear the servo run. Take the wheel and see if you can turn it with the key out of the ign. If it will turn you are OK. If it will not turn then you need the bypass..
Enjoy the car!!!
This thing is gonna hurt the pocketbook I can tell already. But its a good hurt.
Told Momma today I found a good deal on a blower and you can guess how that went over, although she has one on her car, Park Avenue Ultra.
Always wanted a car with a blower on it, just didn't think it would be hers first.
Thanks again for all the help. Great folks on here and very helpful.
Yes use the door sill to push out and to break your entry into the vehicle. Be careful of the sides of the seat, they will wear if you keep rubbing them during entry and exit. Right foot in, heel of hand on sill to control descent and entry, rear into seat and rotate other leg in. Same for passengers, now girls with short skirts....
I'm getting that left hand thing down pretty good and trying not to rub the seat edge on the way in and out. Need to make a gathering soon and observe how others do it, in and out I mean, never mind.
Borla is the best, I have it on my 2000 vert and I couldn't be louder and prouder........Great sound but not so much that it angers the neighbors........
