I'd be in on the projector setup and waiting on the shrouds later. I'm really needing a headlight upgrade because i can't see **** on these country back roads at night. I'm about to just cut this out and do a retrofit, but i'd really like to have these instead. Let us know what you plan.

After a few emails back and forth with some beta testers and JW as well as giving this a lot of thought I feel that those who've purchased and been running these lights deserve first shot. JW please chime in if you're thinking of something different, as well as those who want to share their thoughts...

I'd wouldn't mind hearing from both current owners and future/potential buyers (some of which have been in contact privately already) but think it should be a pretty universal consensus to complete the sets of those who've been waiting prior to filling new orders. I'm flexible as there may be some who can or want to wait until later in the production for whatever reason, ( I am in that group and will run the prototype shrouds until every one else is covered first.) but in general each owner should have the choice.

I honestly do not know how many sets are coming in the first couple shipments or how quickly the fabricator can turn the molds around, keeping production on any type of regular schedule. Composite "production" seems to be some sort of unversal conspiracy, composite industry secret in order to keep prices at a premium and buyers paying it, which in turn keeps me extremely reluctant to start an official list. However, I did keep a list of all who've originally purchased these "shroudless" and I don't feel it would be too terribly wrong to allocate sets to individuals out of "purchase order" turn, if needed.

I'm open to the discussion both here publicly and privately in pm's or emails and as I've done with much of this project I'll follow as much as possible both the vendor and group wishes...

...couldn't resist my friend.
I would vote for giving current Sun Gun owners the first shot at shrouds by Sun Gun purchase date, but that's because I'm in that population!

Really looking forward to a set of these!

I think its fair prototype/beta owners get first shrouds, because without their feedback, these headlights might not have come this far!

That being said, i want to get on the list for a set asap!

I didn't think we'd have this must interest in shroudless sets.

We should have a link up next week when I return from a mini trip. Look for more then...

Just curious, how many shroudless sets of lights are currently out there?

I don't have my records in front of me right now but I believe 31, including me.
+2 - Mine and the very first Alpha test set we developed the Installation Instruction pdf from and will do the shroud installation and improved stabilizer bar(s) update once the shrouds are completed.
+5 - Beta testers
+20 - First gp.
+4 - Second gp.
-1 - My original set removed/retired from service and mounted to my operation/fitment test stand and used for r&d as well as shroud molding.
(This set was replaced in my car by Jistari's beta set, which I purchased back from Joe when he mentioned he would be selling his C5. Thx Joe!)
=31 total out there.

31 - previous built
+26 - currently on shelf

=57 - total sets completed.
(60 - sets of shrouds ordered.)

Not all those sets are still with the car owners ( or still mounted to their cars) who bought them though. For instance JW sold his C5 with the lights Jistari without and and I've heard from a couple others who've sold their sets unmounted for one reason or another, mostly because the shrouds weren't done yet and mounting them un-shrouded was not appealing.
That second gp total of only 4 sets is what originally convinced me to hold off building any more until the shrouds were finished. The feedback I received suggested that was the main reason. A lot of newer owners and members since then...

I still have both of my cars and would like to get the shrouds when they become available. While one is in storage for the winter it will be back on the road in April. Thanks

HELL.... I got frustrated just reading the last four pages. I guess I don't get it. Four years...REALLY. MOVE ON!!!! LMFAO Oh yeah, do those shoot lasers?
