RHI Lifts from Schaumburg IL had their techs over the house all day today installing an Atlas 4 Post 8K lift. Had to raise the garage door lifted 14 inches so now the vette fits 67 inches above the floor. However, how in the world does one backup on to one these things without help? I can't see anything out of the back and wasn't particularly impressed with the smell of burned clutch after I was done. Any suggestions or ideas?
My wife asks me the same question. Takes a little practice and I open the door to look at my alignment or even get out to check but it gets easy after two or three times.
That's what I thought. Looks great though. Never liked the blue.
How are the tiles holding up? Any tire heat burn? I need to make some upgrades to my garage floor. The rubber mats are showing some age and have hot tire marks burned on them.

1. I programmed the driver #2 setting with the passenger side mirror facing down. when I want to back into tight spaces I press button to and get a clear view of the sidewalk or my lift ramp.
2. I also have large mirrors on the rear wall of the garage, I have them sllighty tipped down, and can see my approach while back on. and also see the clearance around the car.

I was also thinking the mirror idea and perhaps a cheap backup camera mounted behind the grill on the rear bumper.

Might try something like I did by adding Convex Mirrors on the garage walls so that I could drive up on my Kwik Lift without a ground crew? You can see part of one of my mirrors in the photo below (behind the driver's side mirror - on the wall). Got mine from Griots, but do not see them there anymore, but similar to these: http://www.garagemirror.com/

Enjoy the lift, I installed one myself last year and its been a great addition to the garage.( 11 ft ceilings) Black paint on the Ben paks is not custom, Greg Smith equipment has them in inventory
I keep my 74 stingray on top, the much more driven 03 c5 underneath.
I dont back my cars on, the stingray needs a couple of boards on the ground to help with clearance
