Nice pieces. For all the A4 guys like myself, maybe you should see about including the adapter that allows you to use the "normal" shifter on an A4. You just push down the whole thing to shift. I know several online sources have them. Maybe make a package deal on shift **** and adapter for us A4 folks.
Hey, great idea....never thought of that....
I actually have those, let me see what I can do here....
Ok....we now have the solution for the Auto guys....
Our Corvette Auto-Manual shift **** converter will allow you to use any of the standard C5 threaded 9/16-18 shift ***** on the Automatic shifter. To change gear position, you just press down on the entire ****.
Also works on the C6 Automatic also.....Just make sure you order a shift **** designed for the C5, threaded with 9/16-18
Do not tell me I do not listen to the forum suggestions...

You can count me in A4, but will need directions to put it on.
So if I order the converter for my auto C5 it comes with clear installation directions, all parts needed for same, and any **** you sell on here will fit; am I right? Installation under an hour, just how much is required since I'm not a wrench type?
There is an old post I found VERY helpful on modding the auto trans shifter to accept a MOMO shift **** for the auto.
It involved cutting the white nylon "bushing" to lower the overall height of the ****, fitting to std shifter **** was too high.
This may help guys with the adaptor coupled to the many different stick shift ***** available?

Count me in with the auto bunch. My original is looking pretty sad.
Count me in too. Why is the A4 so hard to do? Mid America used to have one but no longer. I guess it is much easier to turn these on a lathe and ship them out and the auto requires some engineering.

Does this **** sit lower on the shaft? I have cut my stock C5 shifter to shorten the throw, and am hoping that this **** would sit even lower on the shaft than the OE unit.

Thanks ahead.
I am not certain, as we have not tried it side by side with the OEM ****. I think it does sit a little lower, but am not positive. Maybe someone who has purchased one can give us some feedback?
How hot do the stainless ***** get in the summer? I'd consider the black or white plastic ones but I'm not sure how that would look with the shale interior, the bronzed stainless one would't look out of place.

They're metal so in the summertime sun they're going to get hotter than non-metal shift *****, so I'm sure that's worth considering.
