Vendor pricing ?
for example if a non forum vendor has a part for sale....lets say a valve stem...can I ask if any of the forum vendors can offer me a better price or deal??
I have found a decent priced catback via a forum member but the vendor is not a forum vendor......so I have spent a few thousand via this forums vendors and would like to continue to keep it in the family but money is money ???

maybe a moderator could help me out with this
But if you have a particular vendor you are wanting to work with why not just PM them and ask them?

Probably best to just PM the vendor and see if they can cut you a good deal.
However, if you use email you should be safe...

If you have suggestions for the improvement of the Forum, questions or criticism of the Forum or its moderation, you are welcome to PM or e-mail a moderator. Please do not use an open thread for such messages, however.
That would include, but is not limited to discussions about who has been banned and why.
The work on the Forum's volunteer moderators is difficult enough without having folks calling them out in open threads.
but the rule you were speaking about is this one...............
Members are not permitted to create threads, post replies directing others to research another site, or respond by requesting a PM/email that directs them to material that is inappropriate for posting on the forum.
The forum will not serve to facilitate material which is prohibited by our existing rules.
If members desire such content, they can do it without the assistance of the Corvette Forum
and....
No links or references to eBay sales or other auction or sales sites are permitted. If the sale is appropriate for the Forum, post it on the Forum, rather than linking to it elsewhere.
so there ya have it in a nutshell...
