Vendor pricing ?
Is it permissable on this forum to post a price for a product ?.. and ask via this forum if anyone can beat the price?
for example if a non forum vendor has a part for sale....lets say a valve stem...can I ask if any of the forum vendors can offer me a better price or deal??
I have found a decent priced catback via a forum member but the vendor is not a forum vendor......so I have spent a few thousand via this forums vendors and would like to continue to keep it in the family but money is money ???
maybe a moderator could help me out with this

Shouldn't be a problem asking if a vendor can beat a price but you shouldn't post the vendor name or a link to the one you are asking them to match....
But if you have a particular vendor you are wanting to work with why not just PM them and ask them?

Probably best to just PM the vendor and see if they can cut you a good deal.

I'm not sure about that...As I found out today, one of my threads was locked because I PM'd someone a source to purchase something. The rule states you cannot Private Message someone info from a NSV and I'll assume that rule applies even if its to a supporting vendor.
