Here are a few pics of my new interior. I replaced the seat skins, seat foams, complete console, shift and e-brake boots, shift ****, radio bezel, head unit, and added the gauge bezel trim. I elected to go with the Avic Z1 upgraded to Z3 for the head unit. I also mounted a backup camera in the rear license plate and put a front camera on. I placed the microphone for the Bluetooth inside the climate control sensor vent beside the ignition switch. I also added some seat heaters while I had the skins off with the buttons for the heaters mounted beside the traction control switch. Carskins did a great job on the leatherwork. It took a little longer to get the parts than I would have liked, but it was well worth the wait and I would do it again. Chris is sending me some free floor mats to make up for the wait. I got many ideas from other member’s cars on the forum. Thanks to those who helped when I had questions about how to do something. Other parts came from Gene Culley and Corvette Motorsports. I think the hardest part of all this was hooking up the head unit it has numerous wires to work with in a small space. Overall, I am very happy with the way it looks.
Thanks, subtle was what I was going for. To me yellow is a tricky color to do, it is to easy to go overboard and have way to much yellow that is why I choose red for the word corvette on the seats and console.
Thanks, I glad to see you got out of that overpaid topic in OT. I got into one of those in PR&C and had to put up with some of the same BS you were arguing against. I can't argue with people about my job or pay anymore without getting mad and saying things I regret later so I stay away from posting in those threads now.
Tim, your interior looks great!! Looks like you did a very good job installing the seat covers. Make sure to send me some pics and I will post them up on my website.
