I like and use the Easy Entry feature but last week, for no known reason, it stopped moving the seat back.
It still lowers the seat and sets the mirrors and steering wheel but will not run the seat to the back.....which of course is the feature I like the most.
I do use the same fob to unlock the door and I did go into the DIC and turn EE of and then back on.........also did the fob reset.........no change.
I had the exact same thing on my 2003 last year. Luckily the repairs were covered by my GMPP to the tune of $2100.00. They replaced the BCM and the control as well as new seat tracks, I asked if the seat tracks were bad, but the service manager said he didn't want to take a chance that they go bad, (Rocking seat problem) so he replaced them as well. Said it was GMPP, so why take a chance. Go with a new set.

That is great, but since I don't have an extended warranty, I don't have that option
Just on chance that there might be some codes set, did you pull them and look? There are about 2 dozen codes that the seat control module (SCM) can set including a few related to memory.
At least once a month, I'll put the key in and instead of the seat moving forwards, it will move backwards all the way. I pull the key and it moves forwards. LOL
I just lock the doors with the fob and then unlock them and everything works right again the moment I put the key back in the ignition.
